Top Navigation and Maps Apps Performance in Austria Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications in Austria displayed varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at how each app fared based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained consistent weekly downloads, hovering around 5.5K to 6K throughout the quarter. The app's active user base showed fluctuations, starting at approximately 3.9M and peaking at over 4.1M in mid-March.

Google Earth experienced a decrease in weekly downloads from early January, dropping to around 3K by the end of March. However, active users steadily increased, reaching a high of about 78K in early March.

ÖAMTC saw a decline in downloads from 4.1K to about 2.7K by the end of the quarter. Weekly revenue remained modest, ranging from $2 to $4. Active users dropped from 30K to approximately 22.5K in March.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a positive trend in downloads, increasing from 2.5K to over 3.7K by mid-March. Active users surged to 80K in late February before settling around 60K towards the quarter’s end.

Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS recorded a steady weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $7.4K in late February. Downloads remained stable around 1.8K, while active users fluctuated, ending the quarter at about 19.3K.
